11  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: An Amy Winehouse brooch, in shrink plastic on: February 12, 2008 07:07:32 AM
I hope your shrink plastic doesn't have to go to rehab, no, no, nooo.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. Love it.
12  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Bowl Ring, Sterling silver on: February 12, 2008 07:06:28 AM
I love that! It's so original and well-made. Where do you work that you can work with metal during periods of extreme boredom?
13  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Suggest New Boards and New Features / Resin Board in Jewelry and Trinkets? on: February 11, 2008 07:46:39 AM
The General Completed Projects board within Jewelry and Trinkets has become completely clogged with resin projects. Maybe we should add a Resin board to this subsection, so that the resin enthusiasts have a home?
14  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Grape Vine 'Round My Wrist [pic whore] on: January 18, 2008 08:57:32 AM
Rather than read a book for one of my graduate courses, I made this bracelet. I used silver chain, more than forty green buttons, a silver leaf charm, and a lobster clasp. I love the sound the buttons make as they dance around my wrist.

Okay, the bracelet is a pic whore.
What do you think?
15  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: How's your Etsy shop doing now? on: January 03, 2008 08:04:38 AM
Ohmygod, I have ten hearts now! TEN. Yesterday I had only five. And I've only been open for seven days. To say I'm ecstatic is the understatement of the century. Maybe soon I'll sell something.
16  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: Is it just me...or.. on: January 03, 2008 08:03:10 AM
I'm on the Etsy forums right now, with no problem. Maybe it's your internet connection?
17  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: Source of Good Quality, Yet Inexpensive Findings on: January 02, 2008 10:05:09 PM
Awesome, thanks! I'll definitely have to check out Hobby Lobby and Fire Mountain Gems. I'm in Washington, DC. Sorry, I should have mentioned that in the original post. I ordered from artbeads.com at first, but they were overpriced, so I returned all those supplies. That's why I'm asking.
18  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Source of Good Quality, Yet Inexpensive Findings on: January 01, 2008 07:58:02 PM
Where do you buy good quality, yet inexpensive necklace, bracelet, and earring findings -- either online or in person? I've been going to Michael's, but the packaging of the findings doesn't say what it is made of or give any other important details.
Thanks in advance!

20  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: "God loves you (and I'm trying)" shirt on: December 30, 2007 08:45:46 PM
That's awesome. Love the shirt, and it looks amazing on you! Don't worry, my glasses always seem to be skewed to one side or the other too. I bet we look like hot librarians. Or at least you do!
