where in heavens did you find those marbles? they're the most beautiful colors in the world!
the only marbles i have are the ones you get in those japanese soda bottles, sorta scratched and a hideous pale-grey color that would probably just melt into the color of the wire anyway....

Actually, only one of these (the red one) is a marble. The orange-ish creamy colored one is just a rock this little kid gave me. The blue-green one is one of those rock things you buy at pet stores that go at the bottom of fish tanks. The colors of that one are SO much prettier in real life, they've got sort of a rainbow thing going on.

Hey, Craftsters! A while ago I was inspired by a post where somebody made a beautiful necklace by wrapping notebook wire around a marble (  I can't find it ). And I've been going crazy making all kinds of jewelry with wire and other pretty things I find around.

Here's what I've done lately:









There are tons more, these are just my favorites. I get so many compliments on them at school. Yay, wire!

So, this isn't my idea, I saw it in some craft book years ago. I just recently remembered about it and had to try it!

I just took an egg, made a hole in the top, drew a cute little face on it, put in some potting soil and grass seed and waited about a week for them to sprout. Water it everyday. His hair is a lot longer now, it's growing like crazy! I'll definately do some more of these, with better-looking faces. My dad said it reminded him of Wilson from that  movie Cast Away. Hehe.
