22  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: APPLES on my clutch + mini TUTE "frame" on: September 18, 2008 11:18:50 AM
It's been quite a while since I've posted this Smiley errors included for free XD

It might be a good idea, to cut the clasp parts much bigger than I have drawn (and done) them. You could then pleat the fabric and tuck it in Smiley

Cute idea Smiley I hope the girls will like them! Don't forget to add some closure like I did on my first XD
24  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / Re: Apparently I'm not a quilter on: September 16, 2008 02:21:48 PM
MareMare, I like your mini quilt Smiley I don't think it is bad at all, maybe because I've only done 2 mini quilt projects so far Wink And believe me you can see on both that I'm not a fan of measuring!

I think it looks great! At least it isn't a swastika, lol.

Your project still is my favorite "stitch and botch"! Cheesy

I don't think that sleeves hate me Smiley but I hate them! hehe

Hm but I'm sure the mail service hates me, it seems that my package to ritapizza is crossing the Atlantic on the back of a duck.

I wouldn't have thought that this was your second handbag, it is so well made!

I love this style, the fabric and the big button!

Oooh!  You've just given me a wonderful project idea!  I use stock Barbie pieces for my Blythe too, and I'd love to redo them.  What kind of paint did you use?  Any tips for me before I start?

I somehow missed your comment, I'm sorry for the late reply!

At first I have sanded the kitchen just a little bit, then used Dupli-Color Univeral Primar (beige) for foundation. I then decided to keep beige as main color. The green parts have been sprayed with Dupli-Color platinum (spring green satin mat). Details are done with cheap Hobby Acryl Colors.
