1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Scarefest 2013 jewelry on: September 29, 2013 06:15:47 PM
My best friend & I went to Scarefest 2013 (horror convention) in Lexington, KY for my birthday and of course I just had to create some jewelry for us to wear.
I made us both the same necklace:
(this is actually being modeled by my male roommate, lol)
and I had to have a matching bracelet   I very carefully curved the bat so it would lay on my wrist better.
These looked awesome with my vampire costume (fangtasia vamp) and she went as Sookie so I made her some fairy charm earrings.
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Newest dream catchers-very img heavy on: September 29, 2013 06:03:28 PM
It has been forever it seems since I have posted anything on here. Life turned upside down & started twisting & turning Tongue To keep my sanity I made several dream catchers
this was a special request dream catcher, this is the beginning stages of the webbing

  finished dream catcher

saw one online for way more than I was willing to pay & said (like so many of us) I can make that!

These next two were made for some friends:

Sorry the pics aren't the best, but only having my phone camera prevents many good pics, lol

3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Newest Beaded Dream Catchers on: September 28, 2011 07:57:49 PM
It has been awhile since I have posted anything Sad but I have recently got back into crafting. I have made a 4" bead wrapped dream catcher with a beaded webbing. I have also began making dream catcher jewelry so had to attempt to make a 1.25" beaded dream catcher for a key chain. I am happy with how they turned out Cheesy  I apologize for the crappy pic but lighting is horrible here & all I have is the camera on my phone.
the flash makes it appear as if you can see the metal under the beads, but I promise you can't.

4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Newest Slave bracelet/hand flower on: March 25, 2010 11:43:28 PM
Being sick & unable to sleep, I decided to make a new bracelet.  Can't tell with the bad lighting, but the colors are black and topaz.  I made this one just slightly different than the Volturi one.  Will try to get better pics in the morning.  Hope you like it.
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Volturi Slave Bracelet/Handflower on: March 24, 2010 10:49:40 AM
My stepdaughter & I are going to a Twilight Convention next month and I wanted a slave bracelet/hand flower to go with my dress for the costume contest.  Here is what I came up with.  Sorry for the crappy pics but my camera is taking a hiatus, so had to use my cellphone Sad.
It is made with black and red 11/0 seed beads and 4mm fire polished beads, is tied off with black rattail cord with beads on the end. The bracelet and ring is right angle weave.

An action shot

Thanks for looking Cheesy
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Newest beaded dreamcatcher on: January 14, 2010 10:20:34 AM

The bugle beads are an aqua blue, just couldn't get a good pic of the color.  I used pink size 11/0 seed beads and #3 aqua blue bugles in honor of Pregnancy & Infant Loss since it is close to my heart.  Not sure if I am going to add tassles or not, think it looks pretty good as is.  Hope you like it.
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / My first beaded dreamcatcher *now with finished pic!* on: December 09, 2009 03:17:08 PM
My stepdaughter & her b/f just bought a house & a few months ago I made her a dreamcatcher.  Being short of cash I decided to make her another one for her new house to match the bedroom.  The colors are going to be a "blood" red & silver.  I have been wanting to try my hand at beaded dreamcatchers for awhile and this gave me the perfect excuse!

I still need to add some details but all in all I think it turned out pretty nice.

Took a break from studying this morning & finished up the dreamcatcher!
8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Twilight/Edward Bracelets on: October 30, 2009 08:10:05 PM
I made this bracelet for my step-daughter for when we go watch New Moon later this month. Beadizzygrl sent me the pattern for her bite me bracelet http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=268511.0 back in Feb. of this year. What with school, work & family sickness I have not had time to use it. Tonite, I finally found more than a few minutes to enjoy some much needed beading time. I changed beadizzygrl's design by replacing the bat with an apple and Edward instead of bite me/bitten. Plus I added a heart charm. I am going to make another one that says twilight & will be using the same red for both the lips and the apple.

I tried to get a close up of the apple but due to the color of the beads, the pics just didn't turn out right.

*Now with twilight bracelet Smiley
I couldn't sleep last night so I decided to go ahead and make the twilight bracelet:

I finally figured out how to weave the ends back thru the bracelet and added a hook clasp this time.

Sorry about the pics, I am not very talented with a camera  Cheesy
Comments and criticism welcome.
9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / First beaded ring, sorry for the crappy pics! on: October 18, 2009 09:03:51 PM
My first attempt at a beaded ring.  I bought a ring at my local Global Fest only to realize it was broken  Sad  Sorry for the blurry pics but is the best I could get using my phone because camera was hidden somewhere  Cheesy
the ring I bought that had already lost the bottom beads.
my finished ring.
action shot.
I am going to try to make another one and modify it a bit.  Thanks for looking!
10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / May seem like a strange request, but any ideas for beaded bra straps? on: July 08, 2007 02:58:35 PM
With the heat, I have started wearing the spaghetti strap tank tops.  Since I love to bead & have the supplies, I thought I would make a set of beaded bra straps because I really don't like the cheap clear vinyl ones you can buy & I am too blessed to go without a bra!  Would love to make a set with beaded flowers, saw a set on the net once, but now can't find it to use for an example.  If anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate any help!
