KittyKill, I love the bracelet better than the necklace, if you click the thumbnail of the bracelet it should let you see a bigger pic Smiley

Ohhh neat! It looks like a chain of spooky blood droplets!

LimeRiot, that is exactly what I was going for Cheesy

My best friend & I went to Scarefest 2013 (horror convention) in Lexington, KY for my birthday and of course I just had to create some jewelry for us to wear.
I made us both the same necklace:
(this is actually being modeled by my male roommate, lol)
and I had to have a matching bracelet   I very carefully curved the bat so it would lay on my wrist better.
These looked awesome with my vampire costume (fangtasia vamp) and she went as Sookie so I made her some fairy charm earrings.
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Newest dream catchers-very img heavy on: September 29, 2013 06:03:28 PM
It has been forever it seems since I have posted anything on here. Life turned upside down & started twisting & turning Tongue To keep my sanity I made several dream catchers
this was a special request dream catcher, this is the beginning stages of the webbing

  finished dream catcher

saw one online for way more than I was willing to pay & said (like so many of us) I can make that!

These next two were made for some friends:

Sorry the pics aren't the best, but only having my phone camera prevents many good pics, lol

Native Heart, thank you Cheesy I have another one I need to post, I just haven't gotten around to it
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: First 550 Paracord project on: November 29, 2011 11:02:45 AM
I love it! I made one last year and hubby at time just had to have one, and when I wore it to class, a guy had me to take a charm like component and make one for him. I just recently (last night lol) ordered some side release buckles to try since I couldn't find any around here. I have an army penpal that was surprised I was able to make one, he is supposed to get me some old military buttons Cheesy I have already made two lanyards for gifts & have been requested to make two more. I love the versatility of the paracord!

Beautifully done. My niece and my daughter have dream catchers on their Christmas list this year. I'm not going to be beading them though. Seems like that would take along time and we're doing handmade Christmas this year(many people on my list this year too  Shocked )
Thank you Cheesy The webbing didn't take that long to do actually. The outside wrapping took several hours, but that's only because of the strain of staring at the tiny beads lol. I try to include at least one handmade Christmas gift, but this year is going to be quite a bit.

Awesome!! Great job, gives me some ideas- been wanting to make some unique dream catchers lately!
Thanks!! You rock!  Cheesy
Thank you Cheesy I had been wanting to try this design for awhile but was intimated by the tubular peyote stitch, but once I got it figured out it was pretty easy.  I am going to make another one in white and black some time this weekend I hope.
Btw if you need some ideas pm me, I love dream catchers so am always looking for new ideas also. I have two booklets, one on beaded dream catchers (this design is not in there) and one using plastic canvas words Smiley

It has been awhile since I have posted anything Sad but I have recently got back into crafting. I have made a 4" bead wrapped dream catcher with a beaded webbing. I have also began making dream catcher jewelry so had to attempt to make a 1.25" beaded dream catcher for a key chain. I am happy with how they turned out Cheesy  I apologize for the crappy pic but lighting is horrible here & all I have is the camera on my phone.
the flash makes it appear as if you can see the metal under the beads, but I promise you can't.
