1  Newest Beaded Dream Catchers in Beads: Completed Projects by Sandi76 on: September 28, 2011 07:57:49 PM
It has been awhile since I have posted anything Sad but I have recently got back into crafting. I have made a 4" bead wrapped dream catcher with a beaded webbing. I have also began making dream catcher jewelry so had to attempt to make a 1.25" beaded dream catcher for a key chain. I am happy with how they turned out Cheesy  I apologize for the crappy pic but lighting is horrible here & all I have is the camera on my phone.
the flash makes it appear as if you can see the metal under the beads, but I promise you can't.

2  Re: Key Themed Swap Gallery (Send outs 12/8) in The Swap Gallery by Sandi76 on: December 08, 2010 04:53:07 PM
Ok now that I am home & pics taken, albeit not good ones, here is what I got from MizzKodak Cheesy
First a group shot of the pillow case, notecards and magnets, not just one but two embroideries for my wall, a tote bag and two antique keys.
Now individual shots, the two embroideries, pic doesn't do them justice cause I suck at taking pics, they are a coppery color in real life.

Next are the awesome two keys she sent.
Followed by a set of note cards & magnets, aren't they cute Cheesy
And finally but not least is the awesome tote bag (had to get a close up of the stenciling)

I didn't get an individual pic of the pillow case but is shows really well in the group shot! I love everything & am having serious swap anxiety now!

3  Re: Post your CRAFTY Tattoos! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by Sandi76 on: December 02, 2010 07:42:52 AM
I have loved seeing all the crafty related tattoos. I finally broke down & got mine, local tattoo shop has a special going on for Thanksgiving so my artist did me a wonderful favor & kept close to the special price eventho mine was a bit bigger than the allotted size.
writing is my way of keeping my sanity therefore inner peace, this is the result of discussion with my fave tattoo artist!. She has done 5 of the 6 I have Cheesy.

4  Newest Slave bracelet/hand flower in Beads: Completed Projects by Sandi76 on: March 25, 2010 11:43:28 PM
Being sick & unable to sleep, I decided to make a new bracelet.  Can't tell with the bad lighting, but the colors are black and topaz.  I made this one just slightly different than the Volturi one.  Will try to get better pics in the morning.  Hope you like it.

5  Volturi Slave Bracelet/Handflower in Beads: Completed Projects by Sandi76 on: March 24, 2010 10:49:40 AM
My stepdaughter & I are going to a Twilight Convention next month and I wanted a slave bracelet/hand flower to go with my dress for the costume contest.  Here is what I came up with.  Sorry for the crappy pics but my camera is taking a hiatus, so had to use my cellphone Sad.
It is made with black and red 11/0 seed beads and 4mm fire polished beads, is tied off with black rattail cord with beads on the end. The bracelet and ring is right angle weave.

An action shot

Thanks for looking Cheesy

6  Newest beaded dreamcatcher in Beads: Completed Projects by Sandi76 on: January 14, 2010 10:20:34 AM

The bugle beads are an aqua blue, just couldn't get a good pic of the color.  I used pink size 11/0 seed beads and #3 aqua blue bugles in honor of Pregnancy & Infant Loss since it is close to my heart.  Not sure if I am going to add tassles or not, think it looks pretty good as is.  Hope you like it.

7  My first beaded dreamcatcher *now with finished pic!* in Beads: Completed Projects by Sandi76 on: December 09, 2009 03:17:08 PM
My stepdaughter & her b/f just bought a house & a few months ago I made her a dreamcatcher.  Being short of cash I decided to make her another one for her new house to match the bedroom.  The colors are going to be a "blood" red & silver.  I have been wanting to try my hand at beaded dreamcatchers for awhile and this gave me the perfect excuse!

I still need to add some details but all in all I think it turned out pretty nice.

Took a break from studying this morning & finished up the dreamcatcher!

8  Twilight/Edward Bracelets in Beads: Completed Projects by Sandi76 on: October 30, 2009 08:10:05 PM
I made this bracelet for my step-daughter for when we go watch New Moon later this month. Beadizzygrl sent me the pattern for her bite me bracelet http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=268511.0 back in Feb. of this year. What with school, work & family sickness I have not had time to use it. Tonite, I finally found more than a few minutes to enjoy some much needed beading time. I changed beadizzygrl's design by replacing the bat with an apple and Edward instead of bite me/bitten. Plus I added a heart charm. I am going to make another one that says twilight & will be using the same red for both the lips and the apple.

I tried to get a close up of the apple but due to the color of the beads, the pics just didn't turn out right.

*Now with twilight bracelet Smiley
I couldn't sleep last night so I decided to go ahead and make the twilight bracelet:

I finally figured out how to weave the ends back thru the bracelet and added a hook clasp this time.

Sorry about the pics, I am not very talented with a camera  Cheesy
Comments and criticism welcome.

action shot.
I am going to try to make another one and modify it a bit.  Thanks for looking!

10  beaded jewelry for stepson's wedding-pic heavy, sorry! in Beads: Completed Projects by Sandi76 on: July 01, 2007 06:56:47 PM
Stepson got married June 22, and I was talked into making the jewelry for the bridemaids. After spending countless hours making 5 sets of necklaces & matching earrings, I was worried that none of the bridesmaids would be wearing them at the wedding. I was more than surprised when after the wedding everyone came up and thanked me for the beautiful jewelry!
First not my design, so credit goes to http://www.geocities.com/robynl_4/  it is the princess necklace.

Sorry about the blurry pics, digital cam is a pos & haven't gotten around to getting a new one yet! Bride only told me that the wedding colors were yellow & purple, real detailed, huh? Anyway, luckily the colors I picked out matched everything perfectly.
