No worries. I do hope they are useful to you. I've been using the "rejects".

If I did them again, I'd do two things differently. First, I'd make the bottoms a perfect square instead of rectangles.

Then I'd bring the clear vinyl down further by making the bottom strip much thinner. This way you can see further down into the bottom of the bag, like in the original. But by leaving a short strip of fabric, it's easier to work the vinyl than having the it touch the bottom.

Getting the clear to go all the way down and looking neat is quite tricky despite how easy it looks on the link!

I just pinned that glorious organizer bag to my Crafty Wish/Fabric board!  I spend so much time digging through all my WIP bags searching for "that project.  I desperately need a few of those!

I've linked the "original" project below. My problem was I couldn't really work the plastic so it looked good at the bottom there in the round shape. So I had work the bottom in fabric. In the end I made them square-ish to give them a bit of "sit up".

4. I forgot to take a picture of the 3 organizer bags I sent to miknessevie. This it one of the test version I made. I couldn't get the bottom rounded out for some reason. So the finished ones have square bottoms. They stand up better. Well, and they are finished properly with the draw string pull thing, etc. This one is flat bottomed.

I live in Switzerland, but I'm happy with quality over quantity and love mini things so hopefully that will keep the postage down. Having said that you all in the states have it easy with the postage. LOL.

Anyway, it's been a while since I've swapped since for the last 4 years we were living in a country where the postal system just didn't work. Eeeks. I don't know why I often try to duplicate exactly what someone has pinned or wisted when I really prefer to get items inspired by pins rather than exact replicas. I wouldn't worry about design changes.

Yeah. I just thought it would be easier. It's not that difficult to sew fabric circles. It's just that the vinyl has no give.

I have for years been swapping but the past few months I made a HUGE move from NC to MA then had some more health stuff and now hop this is the last of it so I can so get my craft back on in overdrive.. I feel like I have lost part of me not being able to craft like I did to the drgree I loved claiming 4-7 times a month cant wait to do it again soon... SOON I SAY SOON hehehee

I grew up in MA! PM me your location... I'm curious. I don't get there often enough. We also have a big move last year. Soooo over moving. Me too. I hated not being able to swap. Swapping keeps me crafting as I don't have too many people to craft for. And it's more fun to craft for others.

just take your time and all will be OK I am with you however I had a huge issue this morning. I just had another major surgery and it has really made a damper on my whole right side and I am right handed. I am so sore and they upped my meds again as it was not helping so just yuck! I am with you however and it happens to all of us :/

I dumped the circles.... Too many days fighting with them, too much vinyl hitting the trash can and the deadline is looming. Going back to straight lines I'm afraid. lol

I think they are still cute. Fingers crossed they will be appreciated even in their non-circular form.
