1  Re: ALL YEAR LONG CHRISTMAS CRAFTALONG 2006 in Craftalongs by GroggyFroggy on: March 02, 2006 10:27:38 AM
Here are some scissor fobs I made today.

Anyone else making gifts without a recipient in mind? I don't know who on earth I'll give scissor fobs to. I love making them, though, and I like them on my scissors. Hmmm....maybe I'll just wrap everything and put it under the tree for MOI!  Grin

Making book thongs was fun.  Cheesy I like the Barnes & Noble gift card idea. I also want to make some that are more kid friendly and buy some children's books and send them as gifts. Gosh, I love this craftalong. It is helping me so much. Don't worry if you're behind. Just think ...if you're thinking of Christmas in March, you're already miles ahead.  Wink

Here's a pic of the 2 book thongs, a book marker and a stitch marker I made tonight. I know...the stitch marker looks remarkably like a mateless earring.  Grin

These are two towels I stitched for my Mom. I'm going to send one now and save one for Christmas.

I decided to wash it all off and start over. It's nowhere near aliastriona_angerbo da's quality but I just love it. It looks tie dyed or something. Mostly it's just too much fun to DO. I know if I were single, I'd have every window in the house painted. LOL...perhaps seasonally. Fun stuff! I'm going to place the new pics here and delete the old ones, for Leah's sake.  Smiley
This is looking at it from outside. I like this best because it shows the white outline.

and from inside,a closeup. I used heart templates and just "pounced" around them with white paint, then filled in the spaces.

5  Another excuse..er...use for marble goodness in Completed Projects by GroggyFroggy on: December 14, 2005 09:11:19 AM
Drawer pulls! My house is so flippin dark it's hard to get a picture...and my cat kept swiping the knob before I could get a pic. Almost caught her on camera.  Grin Anyway, these were the best pics I could come up with.

6  Re: Glass Marble Magnets in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by GroggyFroggy on: December 10, 2005 02:19:16 PM
I am loving the magnet thing.  I got the supplies this afternoon and here are a few...they're not magnets yet. I couldn't find any today but I made the glass/pic part anyway. Someone said "instant gratification"..man it really is.  It is addictive!

and a picture of my cat being naughty just for good measure:
