1  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / NEW ZEALAND / REALLY CHEAP op shops. on: June 26, 2008 02:21:10 AM
so recently, I've been itching to do some recon clothes from older, uglier things to prettier, cutie cutie stuff i may actually wear, however, having just moved and throwing out tonnes of my own old clothes (which i'm now kicking myself for) i would like to know if there are any really really cheap places to get articles of clothing, they don't have to be brilliant items since they are going to be cut up anyway.

anyone one know of any places?

preferably in Auckland

2  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / NEW ZEALAND / where to find cast tape? on: October 11, 2006 06:24:21 PM
hey guys!

haven't posted here in so long.

anyway i'm all about casting these days and i'm having a lot of trouble finding somewhere that would sell single rolls of 3M scotchcast (the ones you get on your arm when it breaks).

does anyone know of anywhere that would sell me a single roll?

3  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Stenciling on PVC? on: August 08, 2006 04:22:50 AM
hello everyone

i was thinking i'd stencil some designs onto a pvc shower curtain but i have no idea what kind of paint to use.

I'm guessing it will have to endure a fair bit of folding, and moisture...

any ideas will be much appreciated
