33  FairyAngel's new yarns in Spinning: Completed Projects by FairyAngel on: April 04, 2006 10:03:49 AM
Hello. here is new yarns i made over weekend...

Bouche yarns -cotswold wool plied with cotton threads...itis really soft not very rough cuz the way it is wrapped around core thread...

Tweed-like yarn- jacob wool-black and white with cotton nubs overdyed with natural plant dye Madder root... It supposed to be  dark red (i used plastic jar to do dye sample)  when dyed but it turned out to be cinnamon brown - i think cuz of  reacting to stainless steel pot i was using to dye that yarn.....Anyway it is still pretty yarn!!

here are the yarns i have been spinning for weeks...

Aqua yarn:
Jacob wool-black and white overdyed with teal color then plyed with teal mohair yarn

Tanegerine Sherbert and Blooming Spring yarns:
both are Romeny/merino yarns.

Mauve Cotswold yarn:
Cotswold wool was soft but spinned into yarn it felt like sorta hemp so i am making a belt out of it will post picture of finished project soon.

Here is the picture of triangle motifs that i crocheted out of Mauve cotswold yarn for a belt
