21  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: My kid made other kids cry with this Halloween getup... on: January 26, 2005 03:44:17 AM
I used typical pancake makeup, but then in certain areas, I applied a layer of liquid latex, then a layer of 1 ply shredded tissue, then another layer of latex. When that dried I tore up the latex/tissue in a few spots and painted the skin black beneath there, and left some of it hanging. Fake teeth and grey hairspray too. One little kid started crying, another ran away, and the other Mommies were giving me a dirty look. I kinda felt bad, with my 10 year old dressed as the living dead amongst all the SpongeBobs and Spidermans...
You are the coolest mom ever.  Tell the stepfords to shove it up their tail pipes...

Very slick!

I see the Seminole sign.  This wouldn't happen to be somewhere here in Tallahassee, would it?

Cool.  I figured it was simple, I just couldn't quite grok it.

Thanks.

Okay, I can dig the freezer paper thing, but I'm not following one thing.  How do you get the stencil from the printer onto the freezer paper?  I'm sure the answer is simple, but it's just not coming to me...

I was really hoping that was a banana...
I fling poo, be nice to me.
I may be tiny, but I can hit you with poo.
