Actually, I dont' know what it is about my book that I loved growing up... But I read it over and over again.

I re-read it when I was in college just for ha-has, and I realized when I was younger I totally didn't understand everything that was going on in the book, but it was still enough to keep me entertained over and over again.

Partners on Tuesday! WHHOOO HOOO!!!
47  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Extra Stitches, where are they coming from???? on: April 15, 2006 05:43:55 PM
Thanks everyone.

This morning I realized I was going to find help in "ribbing" and not "knit2, purl 2", (DUH!)

And I realized i was bringing the yarn to the front by going thru the bottom of the needles, rather than the top. Like you both said!

THanks again!

Yes, it totally makes me hungry every time I think about it!

I was cupcake-related-stuff shopping today to and I am very surprised about the lack of cupcake-themed things out there! They have a lot of muffin stuff. Muffins? I love them, but how are they better than cupcakes?

Ok, I'm pretty much having the same problem...

My problem really is that I'm confused about going from the knit stitch to the purl stitch, because I keep ending up with these extra stitches that are like little crosses...  Huh
are you supposed to bring the yarn from the back of the needle to the front and then purl? and then put the yarn in the back of the needle again and then knit?

so I think I figured it out, I have to do this, right?

Sorry if this is like waaay beginner.. I looked at the website, but I couldn't find anything about going from knit to purl.

Thanks to whoever can help! Grin Grin Grin
