1  New Collage in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by RissaSan on: July 14, 2008 08:00:17 PM
Bought some canvases the other day and finally had a day off of work to play.
Am I a professional artist? Hell no, but I love this anyway.

2  {{ Dinosaurs Do It Better and other assorted Bookmarks }} in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by RissaSan on: July 22, 2007 08:38:36 PM
So in a few hours I'm leaving for a trip to Leadville, Colorado... which I'm not too enthusiastic about. To further postpone my packing, I decided to make some bookmarks, a much more rewarding experience.
I can include the images i made if you want to copy my designs =)

4  Famous Stars && Straps in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by RissaSan on: July 19, 2007 08:56:58 PM
Ok, not quite stars and straps.

More like zebra print and polka dots.

This is my new address book / calendar / day planner. It's made from a one inch binder I sewed a cover for - then i designed the calendar pages and what not and printed it all out and put it together.

Thanks!

Rawr! New stuff!
A trip to Chicago.

Those were all taken at navy pier. And yes, hello kitty was riding the train completely by herself.

I know it's a dorky kind of shot, but this is my favorite from the entire trip lol.

Steps - I love the shot of the chicken and the waterspout. But especially the chicken, hehe

"Eco Pledge"
Designed for my mother's annual Earth Night at our local fair. Please excuse the hideous white space I had to include for people to sign their names.

"Boss 429"
Designed as a t-shirt for my auto technician boyfriend. Was printed several times onto fabric with...insufficient at best results.

I like to call this one... "Whoring Zack's Body to Sell T-Shirts"

and

"Rissasaurus Rex"
Designed as the centerpiece to my myspace layout.

I have a lot of respect for artists...but 60 dollars for an acrylic necklace kind of breaks the bank for me. So, inspired by tattydevine.com (Check them out, their stuff is amazing)...

Bought shrinky dinks yesterday (for the first time ever) and was eager to try them out.

I'd like to thank dad's credit card, shrinky dinks, my amazing sharpies (I couldnt of done it without you guys!) and fredflare.com for helping these earrings to come into existence...

The best part? I used silver sharpie for the clouds. haha
