Oh. My. Goodness. You've somehow combined my love of Star Wars with my love of blowing things up. I may or may not have a huge nerdy crush on you....I'm leaning towards may...
32  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: photography - my son - need opinion on: June 07, 2006 06:05:25 PM
I adore #1.
-it's so warm and inviting with his skin tone and the bright yellow towel!

I find the bw lacks contrast...it looks a bit overwashed. Perhaps if you played with it a bit (i.e. levels, channels, brightness/contrast etc.) it might stand out a bit more.

Just a thought. Awesome shot though, I'm sure your husband will adore it no matter which one you choose!

35  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: Jumbly "Juicy" Beaded Earrings! on: March 01, 2006 08:21:29 PM
They look beautiful! They look like they required a lot of time and patience...there's so many tiny rings that I'm surprised you didn't just give up and throw them across the room...or that's just something I would do...

I'm sure your friend loved hers! Fantastic job!
36  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Stenciled Blazer - Koi and Dragon on: January 22, 2006 08:45:08 AM
I bought this blazer for my brother and stenciled it for his Christmas present....I know, I'm kinda late in posting it.

I'm pretty happy with the results - I stenciled the image in yellow fabric paint (using freezer paper), then painted the other colours by hand.

Thanks for looking!
