My daughter just loves her binky, the problem is the company stopped making them, so we only have 4 and these are cherished.  My daughter also thinks it is funny to whip her binky at any given time and place our of her carrage and watch us all run around trying to find it.  We've tried the binky clips but she figures out how to pull them off and ends up pinching her fingers.  So I decided to try and come up with something that attaches to her wrist, so I sat down last night and this is what I came up with.  Now this is still in the prototype faze so please be gentle.

This is a close up of it, I just used cotton yarn and for the stem I used Lion Brand woolease.

At this point she realized that it was attached to her wrist

I just came across this pattern and I can't wait to get it.  This is the cutiest, coolest thing I have ever seen.  But every person who has made this said that it is for the seriously advanced knitter.  It is also worked on like a million double pointed needles.  They also have sue the ewe who looks alittle bit eaiser so i might try her first.  But I just thought I would pass this along, it is just to cute.  If I ever finish it I will post a picture.

In addition to the lion blanket I made  (also posted)  I did up some of Annies Attic booties.  My mother use to make these for baby shower gifts and everyone always just loved them.  I even use to sell them at craft shows when I was a kid .  Althought these patterns are alittle bit more advanced for the beginer,  if you take your time anyone can do them.  I just love them, I made the whole set for each of my daughters.  The only ones I did'nt make were the rollerskates because there not very boyish.

I just finished this blanket last night for a baby shower I am going to this sunday.  I saw this on the lion brand website and thought it was the cutiest thing.  I made this out of regular worsted weight yarn instead of cotton yarn.  This was a really easy pattern but having to do 3 1/2 inches of loop stitch is a pain, but I think it came out really cute.

I made this poncho for my daughter for Halloween.  She wanted to be a snow princess and it was just alittle bit to cold out for the costume so I made her this to go with her costume.  She loved it and I never had so many people stop me and compliment me on it.  At one point she asked if she could take it off because she was tired of people asking her where she got it.

I made this dress for my daughter this past summer.  It is made out of a 100% cotton yarn that I bought on e-bay from England.  It washes up wonderfully and was such an easy pattern.  I had this one in 1 night.  I am alittle inpatient when it comes to making sweaters and dresses for my children so I ususally stay up all night to finish them.  This one was very easy for me so I had it done in just afew hours.  I would of had it done quicker but I was watching tv while I was making it.
