4  Re: Doggie Diapers??? in Discussion and Questions by Nikki Knacks on: December 05, 2005 12:00:12 AM
*sigh* alas my daughters only 7 so the dog is my responsibility. She feeds her every day when she comes home from school but that is the extent of her dog duties(punny)

As for when she "dribbles" :: its all the time someone could sneeze and she pees herself. We haven't had her that long and I pray it's like you said and she will grow out of it. I don't punish her I just clean it up and put her outside for a while try and get her to understand if she pees she goes outside.

Another habit I just found out this afternoon is she likes clean laundry. I had put her outside and it started to pour she got wet before i could get her inside and first thing she jumps into my basket of clean laundry fresh from the dryer..I guess cuz it was warm. It was kinda cute but I couldn't help but holler NO get outta there and then she peed all over my laundry.

I wanted my daughter to have an inside dog she can love something small. but we ended up finding a stray that was a great Pyrenees puppy 6 months old huge but absolutely beautiful dog well mannered gentle. we named him Danny. He died Nov 18 this yr. which happens to be my daughters b-day so a friend of ours in all kindness says "we can't have a birthday girl with no doggie" so he gives her a puppy. the dribbler. which she named...Mutt..lol we tried but she was dead set on that name. so poor little thing is Mutt the dribbler.

heres some pic of Danny::

   gosh he was such a beautiful dog Cry

5  Doggie Diapers??? in Discussion and Questions by Nikki Knacks on: December 04, 2005 02:51:41 PM
Doggie diapers...It's stupid i know..I've always thought it was BUT now I have this little yap dog my daughter loves it otherwise I'd find it a new home. It's actually a cute little thing but she has a little bladder control problem. She is semi-house trained but thats not the problem. When ever you go to pet her, or pick her up, or anything she pees a little she's an over excitable dog. she has 'dribbled' on every square inch of my carpet. Renting a steam cleaner seems useless until I can figure out how to stop this. I just got a new couch and I live in fear of her peeing all over it so I keep her mostly out side but she's a tiny dog and it's getting cold now so I want to put her inside but I can't handle the peeing!

I thought of just getting Preemie diapers and cutting a hole for her tail but that gets kind of expensive I've seen the  ones they have at the pet store they are like little panties that you put a lil doggie maxi in..(jeez this really is so silly. I feel kinda stupid asking..lmao) I figure I could just make one and get some pantie liners to go in it. but I don't know how to make it where it won't fall off her. does anyone know how to make one or have one they bought. I've made one I made but she just wiggles out of it. Is there some trick I missing? I made it like a kids diaper w/ velcro straps after the 5th time she wiggled out of it i threw it out Angry

Feel free to laugh hysterically at me and poke fun. I laughed allot when i first decided to do this. Roll Eyes

6  Re: My Guy Proposed in the Cutest Way!! in Weddings and Bridal Showers by Nikki Knacks on: November 22, 2005 08:16:35 AM
The first time my guy proposed was at a dirt track race. He was part of the pit crew and we were spending 4 days there with no tent, beds, or sleeping arrangements of any kind. We ended up sleeping on the ground on a tiny air mattress someone let us borrow we got rained on only once. One night he said "I don't have a ring. but i love you. And I wanna marry you. So will you"
I said"Will I what?"
"he says"marry me"
I said"Of course!"
he said "your supposed to gasp..yes! and throw ur arms around my neck Undecided" hee hee

This halloween my st.mom was picking on him. cuz we have been engaged for almost a year and i still didn't have a ring. This nut(my fiance) walks up to me w/ one of those halloween cup cakes, gets down on one knee and says will you Marry me? In front of my whole family. Then he pulls the icing covered ghost ring out of the cupcake and puts it on my finger. This time I cried and threw my arms around his neck. It was so sweet!
