1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Tea Cup Zipper Pouches for Shower Game Gifts on: June 11, 2012 09:30:19 PM
It's been quite a while since I've sewn anything, let alone posted it, but I made game gifts for my future daughter-in-law's bridal shower.  I was inspired by these http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=331914.0 here.

The shower theme was teapots and teacups, so I wanted to stay with that.  Here are the pics of some:

2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Cricut Expression Duffel Bag on: February 12, 2010 09:36:52 AM
Here's my version of a carry bag for a Cricut Expression diecut machine.  I based the construction on these pics (http://pinoyinoz.blogspot.com/2008/05/labour-of-love.html)  but figured out the measurements I needed.  Thanks Heart of Mary!
This bag was promised for my friend who's a teacher and wanted to carry the Cricut back and forth to school...it's only a year late--haha!  Anyway, thanks for looking and here are the pics:

3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Sweet Little Sundress on: July 06, 2009 05:14:59 PM
Here's the latest dress I made for my daughter.

I've been on a sewing kick for her especially...this is about the 7th thing I've made for her so far since the Spring!  Smiley
4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / I've been away, but still sewing...so, here's a few bags :) on: May 31, 2009 12:42:35 PM
They're basically the same style...nothing too dramatic.  I've been busy sewing dresses for my daughter lately, so I guess I'll soon have to post those on the clothing thread.

Thanks for looking  Smiley

6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Chocolate lollipop bag made for a gift on: October 03, 2008 01:32:56 PM
I made this bag this week for my son's 22ngirlfriend's birthday...which can be a scary thing, because I don't exactly know her likes and dislikes.  My son only said to use blue and green colors and make it a sort of hobo style.  Hopefully she likes it...here's the pics:

More the true colors of the fabric...I don't know why my camera made the others look darker.  Shows the size, too Smiley:

A peek at the inside:

What do you guys think...do you think it's a 22 year old's style and all that?

**PS:  I used a pattern...McCalls 5599, view C, in case you all were wondering and it was really easy to make!  Cheesy
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Two aprons that just make you want to cook! on: September 30, 2008 05:46:08 PM
The first one is reversible and the second one is just plain flouncy!

...and the crappy action shot...an apron model, I am not!!  I sooo wish I had a dress form thingy!  Grin

Hope you like!
8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Botanical pop hobo bag on: September 13, 2008 03:07:31 PM
Here's a hobo bag I made today.  I think these fabrics are so cute, especially since they coordinate so well.  What do you all think?

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Just an apron on: September 13, 2008 09:18:55 AM
When I see all of the fantastic pieces on here by my fellow Craftsters, I almost feel silly posting something so seemingly insignificant...but, I digress!  Here's an apron I made (from a pattern, no less...I'm not brave enough to design/modify clothing  Shocked).  I do love this fabric, though, and I've already made a bag with it, and likely will keep making things with it since I have an entire bolt!  Here are the pics:

**Here's the bag posted:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=267936.0

My mom joked and said I could wear the bag while I was cooking with my apron on, so I'd coordinate while I cooked! Hee hee!  Grin

Thanks for looking!  Cheesy
10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Rio Bag on: September 08, 2008 08:31:03 PM
Just sounded like a good name...actually, the fabric is called that~ Wink
I bought the whole bolt of this stuff, so I'll likely be making more items with this fabric.

Whatdya all think?
