This bag is so sweet! I love the fabrics...so pretty. As far as the magnetic snaps go, just situate them about 1 1/2" down from the top raw edge when setting them in; then once you stitch your lining/bag together and turn RSO, you'll have enough room to topstitch w/o hitting the snap. That's what I do, anyways.
Here's my version of a carry bag for a Cricut Expression diecut machine. I based the construction on these pics (http://pinoyinoz.blogspot.com/2008/05/labour-of-love.html) but figured out the measurements I needed. Thanks Heart of Mary! This bag was promised for my friend who's a teacher and wanted to carry the Cricut back and forth to school...it's only a year late--haha! Anyway, thanks for looking and here are the pics:
