1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Long Loopy Necklace Gallery! on: August 24, 2005 08:48:36 PM
Just so JazzyBee doesn't worry --- I have definitely not forgot about this! The necklace is done and ready to be shipped, it's just a matter of bringing it to the post office. Smiley I've been out of town and haven't had the chance to do so.

I've also received mine from JazzyBee and will be posting pictures ASAP! Smiley
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: red and silver: 2 bracelet-earring sets (img heavy!) on: August 17, 2005 07:55:38 PM
That's all so gorgoeus!

I have a question... what type of metal did you use for the findings in the first bracelet? Also... where did you buy it? It looks like the perfect color I had in mind for a project.

Great work! Smiley

You read Cosmo Girl?

Enough said.

Everyone one of your posts have been a waste of Craftster's space and bandwidth. I cannot wait until you get banned.

Don't you have anything better to do? Honestly.

edit: I forgot to mention that your closet looks great and I really need to be inspired to redo mine!

5  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Screen Printing: Discussion and Questions / Re: My dad's business is silkscreening!! on: July 24, 2005 01:00:24 AM
While my mom went back to school, she worked at a store like that and her job was to do the silkscreening. I went with her there a few times when I was young, but the only thing I remember is the smell. Tongue
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: adorable Jessica Simpson skirt on: July 24, 2005 12:47:15 AM
It looks to me like it's a pleated skirt, with a very wide waistband. I suppose you could make the bow either from the band, or if you want it kind of cinched like hers is, slip a wide strip of fabric between the band/skirt and the top of the band and just tie a bow. You might have to add a lining to get it puffy like that...

I'm no expert, but it doesn't look too difficult to make! I hope you post pictures if you decide to go through with the project. Smiley

Nice work!
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: slinky peach 30's inspired wedding gown on: July 19, 2005 01:15:08 PM
That's lovely! What was the occasion?(that maybe a stupid question, I don't know)

Well the title says wedding gown, so that's what I would assume it is...

Beautiful!!! I envy your talent!
10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: A few new pieces on: July 16, 2005 02:04:02 PM
I made a pendant similar to that a few days ago, and now they're my favorite things to make. You can get really creative with them!

Gorgeous work! Smiley
