Pictures finally!  Sorry for the late posting...real life has been a beast lately.

SO!  Mezzi was just the bestest swap partner!  Thank you Miss Catpants for  hosting this swap.  You did such an excellent job of matching us all up.

First up is this great pin up skirt that Mezzi stenciled for me!  I love it and as I told Mezzi, I'm going to wear this to work with attitude!  Cheesy

Second off was this great rendition of the craftster crochet t'shirt!  Mezz saw this in my wist so she gave it a go and what a fine job she did!  Please pardon the wrinkles.  I got so excited that I squeezed it to death...

Third up was these great cards!  Part of me wants to use them and the other part wants to keep them all for my stingy self.  Marilyn's not going anywhere though.  I'm keeping her in my MM collection.  Wink

OMG would you look at this awesome pin up apron!  How cool is this?  I wore it to cook spaghetti first night.  This is the first apron that I've ever owned.

Mezzi also knows that I love buttons via my wist so she sent me a little pack of some really great random buttons!

And finally there was this great little Simpson wallet that she did for my son.  He loves it and says thank you Mezzi!

All told this was such a super swap!  Thanks again Mezzi and Catpants.  You rock!

26  Re: Good Old Random Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by MoxZ on: September 14, 2006 04:33:03 PM
I received from Jenn today.  She sent me some fun eyelash yarn, some fun furrs and a nice wool cord to crochet with, a steel hook, and also a pack of tiki designs from Sublime Stitching!   Thank you Jenn, I'll have fun working with it all!

27  Re: Old CDs / AOL CDs / AOL CD Cases in What the heck can I do with THIS? by MoxZ on: September 10, 2006 08:56:20 AM
Desk Coasters!  I've used cotton so that they would absorb the glass sweat.

28  Mouse Experiment (pic intense) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by MoxZ on: September 10, 2006 08:39:09 AM
I've finally found the perfect mousie pattern and it's so quick and easy that I've vowed to crochet one for every kitty I know in a different type and texture of yarn.  I've infused this one and another one that I've given away already with catnip and I've left off sewing the beaded eyes on for safeties sake.  The kitties love them.

Mouse #2 - Cammouse - Kitty says meh.  Guess she can't find it when she wants to play:

Mouse #3 is still in progress.  She is made out of this super slippery soft, fluffy pain in the butt yarn.

This mousie has been kitty approved.  No catnip, and soooo soft!  Sammie won't let me have it long enough to put ears on it.  I'll have to lock her out of the house later so I can finish it:  Grin

29  Re: amazing multi-coloured hat made of FLOSS!! in Crochet: Completed Projects by MoxZ on: September 10, 2006 08:14:54 AM
Oh wow!  The most I've made with embroidery floss was a hackey sack.
I didn't bother to twist it either.

I think the hat is gorgeous and it inspires me to do something (small) with embroidery floss again.  I suppose that you could twist it as you go but still it would be worth it for all of the beautiful colors you can find in the floss.
