1  Re: Zephyr Style's Tree Jacket in Knitalongs by rosecomet on: February 27, 2008 09:54:14 AM
Here it is, my offerins to the Knit gods.  I made the sleeves 3/4 and the garter stitch pattern a little longer to cover the girls. I used Bertan Satin in Admiral.

You will feel like it's the easiest thing in the world after watching it. I made these after watching her video.

Hi. I know it's a bit late but could I throw mine in the mix? I'm using Bernat Satin in Admiral. I started this week and it's seriously easy.

4  Finally Done!!! Airy Wrap-Around Sweater from Fitted Knits in Knitting: Completed Projects by rosecomet on: November 15, 2007 11:29:20 AM
I"m finally done with this. I used Bertan Satin in Sultana Raisin. It's so nice and warm for this time.  I changed the YO on the sleeves for KTB; I think it looks neater.  The wraps took forever. I think if I had more time during the day I would have been finished a month ago. Please excuse the crappy picture. My cellphone is acting funny.

5  Look what I made..... in Knitting: Completed Projects by rosecomet on: October 17, 2007 07:46:13 AM
Baby socks!!! I got inspired by Ali's baby sock, also because the socks my son was wearing was leaving the mark of the elastic. This is not Ali's pattern. This is what I used since I hate seaming with a passion. Instead of casting-on with figure 8, I used the magic way instead.  By the way, this was my first time knitting socks.

I'm not a cable virgin anymore!!!!!!   Grin Grin Grin  It's from the Airy Wrap Around from Fitted Knits. I should be done by next week. It was the most scariest thing in the world until yesterday.

Using circular needles will help that away the pressure from the wrist.  Wearing a brace also helps.  Somthing like this

8  my version of the crazy collar sweater in Knitting: Completed Projects by rosecomet on: July 31, 2007 05:40:48 PM
Here's my version of the crazy collar sweater. I had done this sweater a while back and haven't been able to post it cause I kept forgetting. That's what happens when one is pregnant. I used this pattern but I left out the lace and used a stockinette stitch for the body instead. I couldn't concentrate on the Fern Diamonds. I also used Bernat Satin which knit up really lovely.

9  Something Red (Green) in Knitting: Completed Projects by rosecomet on: July 31, 2007 04:15:45 PM
I just finished this bad boy this weekend and it's blocking as we speak. The pattern is from Knit and Tonic and I used Frog Tree Pima Cotton. The pattern was easy up until I had to do short rows on the collar. I undid that collar so many times that I just wanted to just give until I asked for help from Knit and Tonic herself. I also changed the increases from YO to KBF. It was much easier for me.

Hope you like it.
