2  pinwheel baby jacket in Knitting: Completed Projects by Xiuxiu on: September 13, 2006 05:34:22 PM
I made pinwheel baby jacket for my dd.  I used elaan peruvian wool.

Modi: I'm using 6 colors instead of 7.  Knit a total of 72 rounds, and used the adult version border instead of the original one.

This is the jacket in action:

3  Re: Anthropologie-inspired capelet- By julsey723 in Knitalongs by Xiuxiu on: December 16, 2005 10:49:10 AM
This is my capelet.
It's a little bit too short, so I have to add several more rows before the 5 ribbing.  I forgot what kind of yarn I'm using, anyway, I thought the color is a little bit weird.
I don't know if I like it or not  Tongue

4  My finished FOs in Knitting: Completed Projects by Xiuxiu on: December 08, 2005 02:33:24 PM
Homebound and pregnant, I have nothing to do but knit.  So, these are some of my FOs.

This is my first cardigan.  I got the pattern from cosmicpluto.  Very easy pattern.  There should be side shaping, but you probably can't see it with my big tummy.  I wonder if the cardigan still fits after delivery  Tongue

Pinwheel baby blanket.

Unfelted Fuzzy feet from knitty for my cousin's b'day

6  Kissing fish wedding invitation in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by Xiuxiu on: December 02, 2005 06:25:54 PM
So, for our wedding, my fiancee (now husband) decided he wants to make our own wedding invitation.  Since our studies related with fish and ocean, we decided to make it our theme.

This was what he came up with:

It was a big fish, with 2 little ones sort of kissing in the middle.  The invitation itself was at the back.

Hope you like.

This is little turtle soaps that I made as party favor for my wedding.
The photo didn't show it well, but some are sparkly, some has swirling color.

Does anyone know how to make the soap more sudsy?

10  Scarf/headband/belt thing in Knitting: Completed Projects by Xiuxiu on: January 07, 2005 11:08:18 AM
So I needed to make an unplanned gift to my friend this christmas.  And I found this beautiful yarn Jewel FX, at my lys.  I decided to make her a belt, but it was versatile enough to be used as belt, headband, and scarf.
