hi!

i am looking for thermal waffle fabric with christmas patterns....has anyone seen this?

i'm curious about what you all do when a project that is intended to be a gift turns out less than perfect? i have only been sewing for 2 years...and sometimes things turn out less than perfect (lining shrunk when iron - i tiny bit of bunching... top stitching not quite straight/even) .... but money only affords to purchase supplies once....so its slightly imperfect or no gift....

my mom and husband says give it anyway...i feel a little bad....

what do you all do?

hi! i want to make some matching tutu's and one of them will be for a little one...so i am looking for somewhere that i can buy a load of tulle without breaking the bank, but i need it to be soft (not scratchy) ... can anyone point me in a good direction? (im assuming that on online store will be my best bet, but im worried that ill end up with the scratchy stuff).... id really appreciate any suggestions!

We lost my daughter's hat last night (ironically at joann's) and of course lost without a trace

being the middle of winter...but NO ONE is selling toddler hats any more (now bathing suits are everywhere...but not hats)...i have searched and searched and cannot find a lined fleece hat pattern ANYWHERE...i would even pay for the pattern (as long as it was reasonable)

please please, can anyone help? ... the stupid draw-string-less hood on her coat just isnt  going to keep her little head warm

So it took me a while to get some photos...but i made this for my brother for christmas, last year and this year. I knit the robot gir for him last year and i made the dog costume for it this year. I am so proud of it (hence all the photos), i made the costume without any pattern and got it right practically the first time ( made a few minor adjustments ) ...without further ado...

has anyone used a footie jammie pattern that they loved (or hated?)...i would love suggestions about patterns....and i havent seen any that have the zipper that goes all the way down the leg...does one exist? thanks for your help

only knit instead of sewn...but i can only find adult sized patterns...i SUCK at changing patterns and i dont want to go down to super thin yarn....does anyone know of a good pattern or could talk me through how to make one (i've never attempted a hood before)

so now that coldness is settling in...i feel horrible for my baby girl crawling around on our hardwood floors...so i thought maybe make her some sort of handwarmers....but i have no idea how to go about making them tiny sized....is there any chance that there are any patterns out there?...or would someone be willing to help me to figure out what to do to make them? i would really appreciate it (and she will too, since we arent going to do much turning up of the heat)
