21  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Felt Paisley Sample. on: May 17, 2006 03:23:56 PM
Thanks for the welcome! Its a wet piece (i've only just found out about needle felting!) Its not very dense and it's a bit patchy in places. it ranges from 2mm to 4mm where i built it up on the paisleys.

I don't think it would hang well on it's own so I was considering mounting it on a larger piece to give it a border. Although i do really like your idea of sandwiching it between plexiglass!!

Thanks once again.

23  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Clutch Bag With Applique Flower on: May 17, 2006 03:37:37 AM
Hi This is my first post........ hope it works ok!! I've been a lurker for a while and thought it was time i got involved!!

I made this bag as gift for a friend! Its a really simple design but the applique flower was really tricky, trying to reduce the size of the stitch whilst sewing!

Anyway let me know what you think! x

Sorry about the blury photos.... i can't figure how to focus my digital camera up close?? x
24  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Dolls dress...OH DEAR :/ on: April 15, 2006 05:23:59 PM
Hi!! I love your dress design! I know very little about making dresses etc but you'll need to stretch the elastic out and sew it on whilst it is stretched otherwise the thread will just snap!! Hope this helps. good luck with the project.
