you can knit socks toe up though!

I'm still working on this.  I may have to start over because i think i'm using too small needles.  I knit pretty tight and i went up a size, but i think i may need to go up another size.  All that work for nothing 

I usually will do an odd number, so that way i just remember that every row starts with a knit.   It's more mindless that way.

That looks so nice!  I haven't gotten any more done on mine.  School is almost done for the christmas break so i'm hoping to get a lot finished during that time.

some alpalca?  i know that most people with allergies don't seem to react to this stuff, so it might be worth a try.  Just buy a ball of it, have him rub it on his skin and see what happens. 

i have trouble unraveling it because i knit tightly, so the yarn somewhat fuses together, so it's hard to seperate them. 

I've never worked with kid silk before, Im using Kid seta and this is my first time using mohair.  my wool is somewhat puffy, but it's looks alright. 

i have yet to really understand the pattern, i'm just kinda going with it.  it's confusing and i hate making mistakes cause it's impossible to unravel this wool!

Here's a pic of my progress.  I'm tired so I didn't take a good photo.  It's a really bad photo lol but it shows how much i've knit and it shows the lace really well.  I'll take a better pic once my essays are finished.

i'm already confused by this pattern.  I've basically finished the first section of the lacing, and now i have no idea how many times i'm supposed to repeat it.  has anyone gotten to this part yet?
