I vote for the seed stitch!

I'm a big supporter of stash busting and only knit using various balls of yarn (actually, I seem unable to be yarnogamous  Wink ). You could try a wrap, a long, slinky, scarf, a shrug or something spectacular. Mixing those yarns together can be so liberating. Here's one idea, which is the Feather&Fan Ripenings shrug. I think that one might require you to buy a bit more yarn, though:

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: What do you wish people had told you before you started knitting? on: June 08, 2008 04:04:59 AM
I wish someone had told me that rules are meant to be broken and that it's okay if your item doesn't end up looking exactly like the designer's original. Mine never did and I found it defeating until I learned to knit off the grid. Now it's 'NO KNITTING RULES RULE' for me!

Great!
Yes, I will! I'll do that in a day or two. Thanks for reminding me. Jane
7  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Knit A Beach Along on: June 03, 2008 12:12:50 PM

Starting June 18th, join us in a Knit A Beach Along, a tutorial on texture, intarsia, creative knit painting and all kinds of fun stuff.  You don't need to be an expert knitter just an adventuresome one. A 40-pge downloadable booklet helps you along.

8  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Sexy Way to Use Eyelash Yarn? on: April 21, 2008 12:20:19 PM
Yes and more yes! Eyelash can be very sexy. Just think of all those soft little lashes brushing up against your skin... how about this:

That's Habu eyelash lurking in there....

I call it 'Organic Feather n Fan Wrap' because it grows, not by itself exactly but almost. First, cast on about 100 stitches on your largest needles and then follow the feather n fan stitch while casting on groups of stitches at the begining of every row. It goes on from there, obviously, but it's a very free-spirited kind of design. Here's another pic:
