1  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Gold Leafing on: October 18, 2006 04:39:25 PM
I want to put gold leafing on my body, the cheap stuff you can get at craft stores... but I don't have any real idea for a costume that involves gold. I need suggestions!

Please and Thank you!
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / pleated skirt from men's dress shirt. on: May 16, 2004 06:29:26 PM
Inspired by speeedkills http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=5789.0 I stopped at Goodwill this afternoon and picked up a couple mens' button down shirts. At $2.50 a piece, I wasn't complaining. With and idea in my head, I just started cutting and sewing away (a real flaw in the way I do things).
This was my first attempt, sort of a trial, and I love the way it came out. Within the next week, I'll work on a white version, and add a tutorial. Anyways, I hope you like it, and I'll get that tutorial up asap!

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Strawberry Shortcake, maybe. [tutorial added] on: April 25, 2004 06:08:47 PM
I finished this shirt for my cousin today. And I wish I had a tutorial to share, but I'm not organized like that. I just started cutting and sewing, really.
Anyhow, perhaps you can come up with your own something like it. I hope you like it.  Smiley

4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Gigantic Mickey shirt = Snazzy top on: March 20, 2004 06:51:06 PM
I bought a very, very large Mickey Mouse shirt last time I was at Goodwill. I knew I could do something with it.
