1  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Gold Leafing on: October 18, 2006 09:09:04 PM
I mean, yeah. I don't want to cover my whole body with it, but I just think it looks really pretty. :-/ Who knows maybe I'll just be Pee Wee like I planned.
2  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Gold Leafing on: October 18, 2006 04:39:25 PM
I want to put gold leafing on my body, the cheap stuff you can get at craft stores... but I don't have any real idea for a costume that involves gold. I need suggestions!

Please and Thank you!

Your ruffles look amazing, by the way. Mine have never come out that beautiful. <3

So, when I first looked at this topic, I was completely giddy with the idea of sporting a shirt the says "John Edwards is hot." Mostly, because I couldn't agree more. I was all ready to make one of my own.
But upon further reading of your story, I've decided that I couldn't possibly take advantage of such a rad idea. Congrats on all the success!

Those are great! I like the robot/poem shirt the very most though.

Thank you both so much!

Really though, I'd have never thought of it on my own. I'm so glad that I can be inspired by some of these things. It's great.

Here's a few pages from the journal I made, based of this idea.

The last one had pictures of things I made all wrapped up. The journal was a gift for a friend of mine who loves to write. She adores the journal.

Awesome, awesome tutorials!
I made a flower for my friend, and used it as an alternative for a bow on a gift. It turned out really pretty, and she ended up wrapping it around a bobby pin and putting it in her hair, which looked fantastic.

 Cheesy Anyways, thanks so much!
