I dont really like how the blue one turned out. the yarn was being a pain, but aside from that it was a good first try at this.

6  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / the tooth of wisdom on: April 12, 2010 02:42:59 PM
i originally started this doll b/c i have a tooth infection and thought that if i crafted my pain into something that i wouldnt feel so bad. after a couple of days it created a life of its own and turned into something completely different. well here he is:

the hands and feet look kinda weird b/c the ended up burning and bubbling up on me but im pretty pleased with how they turned out just the same.

anyway, hope you all enjoy it and i would love any comments:)

ive been working with clay for a couple of days and made two faces. well the two faces had to go somewhere so with out further babble heres fat eskimo and the infamous hooded sloth:

the fat eskimo is made with felt and has movable legs.......my cat has a strang fasination with his legs

the infamous hooded sloth is made with felt and has movable arms. he loves the light so he is often found hanging around lamps(he is ashamed of this so refuses to be photographed there)

both have hand made faces that are painted with acrylic and brushed with pastels

hope you all like em.
