i made a doll for my dh a while back that i loved(you can see it here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=151201.msg1500289#msg1500289)

turns out after the dozen or so moves ive had since i made him he got lost somewhere along the way. after crying myself to sleep over it(i know lame) i got up the next morning and started on a new guy(or girl cant really tell yet)

so after the sob story here she or he is:

i think it turned out better then the original. hope yall like it. comments appreciated!

12  wallet/notebook(image heavy.....well sort of) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by BlankGirl on: March 18, 2008 03:23:37 PM
hello all, its been a while and since this really doesnt much have anything to do with sewing dolls or anything like that its alittle wierd but i hope you like what ive made
the outer cover is made from plastic canvas with fluffy red yarn. it was a little tricky b/c the yarn kept on spliting but besides that im happy with the result
the paper in the notebook was from a little notebook that i got from working at michaels that ended up falling apart.

the pockets on the inside are made from red felt that my fiance found in the dumpster behind his work........SCORE!

my only problem with it is that i accedentally made the back pocket backwards...oops

anyway i hope you like my little creation...any ideas or comments are appreciated!

20  Little needle book/pocket in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by BlankGirl on: February 11, 2006 11:53:50 AM
I have a bad habit of sticking my needle on my bag when i leave to go some where so i figured that i should make a little needle book thing for all my needles. i also added a pocket to put my pens and pencils and sissors and such. you'd think that this was clever but i get stabbed by the needles all the time.......Sad
this the pocket open......you can see that there is no lining and  you can also see the felt the needles go into(adds alittle padding so that when i poke the needles in it doesnt damage the fabric.)

this is the needle book open and unrolled so you can see the needles.
this is the needle book rolled up.(its usually tied with a purple ribbon but i couldnt find it when i took the picture)
let me know what you all think!!!
