2  FIBER ARTS / Weaving: Discussion and Questions / Finishing Question on: August 25, 2007 01:40:20 PM
Hi everyone! This may sound like a stupid question, but I've looked everywhere else and I couldn't find the answer. How do you weave in the ends after you finish a project? I don't want a fringe on the end, and that is the only way to finish a project I could find. I know their has to be a way. Thanks in advance.
3  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Ugly Fat Quarter Swap? on: May 19, 2007 03:12:43 PM
I was in Joann's today and was struck by the awesome amount of ugly fat quarters. So I was thinking this could be a great swap, you would send a couple of fat quarters, some buttons, ribbon, or other embellishments to make a pillow or lap blanket or something and then you post a picture of what you make. What do you think?
4  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / Multiple Swap Partner Question on: May 17, 2007 03:16:46 PM
Hello. I was wondering what happens if you are in a swap where you ship to multiple partners and one of them flakes and doesn't let the organizer know if they received from you or not. Do you get negative feedback if they don't contact the organizer? It doesn't seem fair if your other partners all receive and one flakes that you should get negative feedback. Thanks.
5  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Discussion and Questions / Angelina Question on: May 06, 2007 01:29:01 PM
Hi everyone! I have a question, what is the difference between bondable and non-bondable Angelina? Can you spin the bondable kind or only the non-bondable kind? I'm very confused. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
6  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Discussion and Questions / Preparing Batts? on: November 13, 2006 04:08:53 PM
Hello everyone. I just bought some batts, and have never spun them before, and was wondering how you prepare them for spinning. Thanks in advance for your help.
7  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Discussion and Questions / Setting Silk? on: October 26, 2006 02:20:20 PM
Hello everyone. I just finished spinning some silk hankies, and was wondering if there's a special way to set the twist? Or do you just set it like you would wool? Thanks in advance for your help.
