Thanks guys! I haven't taken a course, but that really sounds interesting! There are still a lot of things I'd like to learn that are driving me crazy trying to figure out, lol, so that might help!
In the ones above, I used headpins, jump rings and tigertail wire. I just ordered some illusion wire (love those necklaces!), some 22 gauge wire, and some chain - woohoo! I love dangle earrings with chain!
I started a few years ago with an interest in jewelry when my best friend and I were pregnant with our first babies (that also developed into GracieTom lol) and wanted to make baby bracelets... but, they were just too small for me, and I got irritated fast- never even considering making my OWN jewelry (duh!!). Then out of nowhere, I found myself attracted to beads... beads... beads... and so I started buying them and stocking up, not sure what to with them all. Then, I created a website for a client that designs jewelry - of course, I didn't want to knock off her jewelry as it was very unique in it's own way, but I realized that I had some ideas of my own that *if I could just get them to hang right, or lay right, or even get them on the wire right* would be just as beautiful, so I sat down one night with The Apprentice and ER and went to town. Now, I'm addicted!
btw.. all of these pieces are for sale at www.gracietom.com
