I gasped out loud when I saw "a way to fly".... I love that picture; in high school I painted my walls white and drew the main flyer huge with charcoal *and the addition of converse sneakers." Your prints came out beautiful!
OMG! this post just made me laugh out loud (and then feel rather silly as i am the only one awake. I LOVE THE SHEEP!! this so brings me back - in 8th grade, as a valentines day present, my BF at the time made me a cow, not unsimilar to the sheep, though definately not as sturdy. it was all metal and had a doorknob for eyes, had a penchant for falling over in the middle of the night, and survived for years in our living room as the only piece of modern art in our house. i never did figure out what possessed that boy.
i totally am down with this idea. i'm in quincy - almost boston. only deal is i have chronic fatigue syndrome; it might mean i can't make some meetings, depending on how i'm feeling. i'm trying really hard not to overexert myself right now (my wedding's coming up this summer, and i want to be able to dance, damnmit!) i'll keep checking the post. i'm so excited! i've looked at the austin craft mafia site jealously so often!
i'd definately be interested in this swap! i love making books, and even if this swap ends up being something different, i think it would be great to have put in words (and pictures) my philosophies. i'd be a great thing to have to pass down to children as well.
your kids are soooooooooo adorable! and the clothes! they all look completely professional but at the same time much too cfreative to be found in a store. i particularly love the green dress. i want one for me!
