I struggled with molds until I hit upon the idea of a silicone cookie/cake plate from Michaels. They had stars and other things as well but the trees were very Christmasy. And they pop right out clean and neat with no prying. I'm going to other shapes as well. Maybe hearts for the upcoming Valentine Day.

No...I cabled the whole thing. One long piece folded in half and stitched up the sides and bottom.
