I am at the very beginning of a sweater pattern and already I am confused. I know all about turning chains and that kind of stuff...its just that sometimes patterns describe things in a confusing way
its the second and third row I have problems with......
here are the instructions:
ch 47row 1
: work 1 hdc in 3rd ch from hook and in each of next 21 ch, (hdc, ch2, hdc) in center ch, 1 hdc in each of rem 22 ch, turn.row 2:Ch 2 (does not count as 1 hdc)
, work 1 hdc in each hdc to center ch-2 space, (1hdc, ch2, 1hdc) in ch2 space, skip the next hdc
, 1 hdc in each hdc to end, turn.row 3:Ch2(on this and every row)
, work 1 hdc in each hdc to center hdc space, (hdc, ch2, hdc) in ch2 space, skip the next hdc, 1 hdc in each hdc to end, turn
then you need to repeat row three 7 more times and end up with 27 hdc each side of the ch-2 space....the math is just not adding up in my head.......help me
as I understand it aren't row 2 and three the same....the parts in bold are the parts I do not understand please explain this.
