I love this pattern.  And I really like yours.  Nice color, they look really warm!

I made a pair for a friend of mine, and was very sad to give them up!  I need to make myself a pair.
This is one of the pair I made for my friend..

7  Re: 'Kate' from Winter Knitty! in Knitting: Completed Projects by lightingchick on: January 20, 2006 09:40:14 PM

Here's my version of Kate.  She is made of stashed leftovers of Cascade 220.  I love her and may need to make her some friends!  My friend keeps referring to her as The Mutant Egg.

8  Dancing Grannies Hat in Knitting: Completed Projects by lightingchick on: December 05, 2005 06:48:46 PM
Hi all!
I've been lurking here for awhile.  I just made this hat yesterday and I am so thrilled with the way it turned out that I wanted to share.  It's my first FI attempt and is a xmas gift for my 10 year old niece.

The pattern is called Dancing Grannies, but I'm going to tell her it's Dancing Aunties.

I used Lopi yarn and found the pattern here.
