Obviously a little late here... but I found that man on you tube! His explanations are so simple.  He has tutes for the real basics and basics on how to make pillows too!

I also found a book called "Bobbin Lace Without a Teacher"  that has some SIMPLE patterns and easy instructions.

My son turned 4 so he got a big boy room for his present from us!  He has a TINY room, so we decided to take the closet out and use it as part of his bed.  My dad put shelves in to the top for storage.  Eventually, they will have the cloth bins to organize toys and clothes.... But those bad boys are $7 a piece!  Anywho that is what the closet was built to hold.  Each shelf will hold 2.

R2-D2 Body Pillow... It was an infant costume I found at the Goodwill (sewing machine broke mid-pillow so it isn't finished)

Other side:

Chain Pull, I love it <3  It was one of the Galactic Heros that is missing his saber.  The chain pull fits perfectally!

I am in the process of adoption soooooo I am on a SUPER tight budget.  But, that said, I needed to whip out a few projects around the house.  So for the cost of paint, and a few Target clearance items I have a hallway now.  I am not totally finished... but it is presentable

Do you happen to know where to buy such fabric? Or at least key words to google (pleated fabric I suppose?)

Thanks so much for assistance.

I need them to have some sort of function.  I dont really want to take that huge chunk of space up with no functionality.

I have a bunch from work.  I am not sure what I can do with them... but I know where is potential in there somewhere!!! They are lit and about 2x2x2 ft.  They don't have to keep the contents... my children may steal them anyway  Roll Eyes

(sorry for the mess... it is my craft room so well, well you know)
