i was not neccesarily going to make clothing.. i think the best swap crafts are ones that have beeen creatively interpreted!

As a knitter I can think of alot of things..over at Knitty.com Mrs.Beatons handwarmers would be perfect.

yeah... there is a great new-ish book of knitted victorian lace patterns too.

the colours that remind you of france are the same colours that i just painted my dining room..and i totally had this french feeling from the start too.. funny.

i found a little book at my local library called "anyone can build a spinning wheel".. haven't tried it yet, but maybe one day!

i really like your hat, tracicherione, it reminds me of a pine cone, the way the bobbles sort of spiral around.. there is a name for that type of mathematical sequence but i can't remember it..
