1  Re: [updated]Cluster necklace, worked wire, ribbon necklaces and plenty more... in Beads: Completed Projects by mari_confused on: March 01, 2007 04:13:23 AM
I've nothing to do at work so I might as well post some more pictures of what I've made..

.925 silver, swarovski crystals, czhech crystals and red jade..

Glass beads, swarovski crystals and a lapis (I think)

This is a long necklace. I've made this kind in heaps of colours (most of them have velvet around the neck and not chain though)

Various glass beads, swarovski, czech crystal etc.

I've been productive I guess you can say. Here it goes:

Crappy picture, it sparkles alot more irl.

This is on a long chain. An onyx tooth, a swarovski heart ++

Amethyst and fresh water beads.

I think that's more than enough for right now.. I'd love to have constructive critique=)

3  Jump rings/sequins earrings + tutorial. in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by mari_confused on: June 06, 2004 04:13:31 AM
Well, it's not exactly a tutorial, as it's very easy! But here it goes!
You'll need:
46 jump rings
28 sequins with holes in the middle
A pair of earrings (findings?)
Here's what you do:
This is the "core" of the earrings.First fasten 9 of the jump rings in the earrings, so it looks like this:
The next/last step is adding the sequins. Open a jumpring and put the sequin on it (I'll just call these seq rings). In these earrings I didn't add any at the first jump ring, but I added two seq rings on the second ring on the core. Add three seq rings in the third jump ring. Put one seq ring in each of the next jump rings in the core. Then add two seq rings on the seventh ring. Now there's two "free" jump rings in the core left. The next seq ring you add over both of them(so it goes through both of them). Add two seq rings on the last jump ring in the core, then add one seq ring on one of the seq rings.

The finished product'll look like this:

I hope this is understandable Smiley If anything's unclear, let me know, and I'll try to explain it better!
