My brother made this, and because of his lack of craftster account, I am posting it.
It's a duct-tape creature, not exactly sure of what it is. The body is tape wrapped around balls of magazine pages, and taped together. I'm not quite sure what the wings are, but they are quite sturdy. The hair is strips of an old rope, and the hat is a rather nice police hat. Without further ado, Here he is.
And, on an un-related note, I bit a face into an apple I was eating, but now I can't eat it because I think it's cute, and I'd feel guilty. (Sorry for the bad picture)
So my parents are going to celebrate their 20th anniversary on March 17th (St. Patty's Day!! ), and I need something to make for them. I think I should make something to show how I appreciate them for the both of them, and for my mom something related to her job (dental hygenist) and my dad something for gaming.
I need help, and pretty much anything will be better than the few ides I have.
I've had Snowball for as long as I can remember. We have to put her down in the morning, she's getting old and her hip problems cause too much pain, and it hurts to see her go through that. I want to spend my last night with her playing and laying down with her, rather than crying about it. Tomorrow will come faster than I could ever imagine, I'm sure. If you had one last night what would you do with your pet to make the most of it? Also, when she's gone I want to do something for her, a tribute/memorial sort of thing. Ideas?
Well, At school I'm a school lunch fiend. Not saying our lunch is particularly good or anything, but after eating it every school day I've attented with the exception of a few here or there, I love them. For the past month/month and a half or so, I've been saving the milk carton. I come home and wash them out and all that jazz, and I want to make something from them. All of them are pink (Strawberry Milk everyday...). Any ideas/suggestions would be great.
I'd also like to make a school lunch model type thing, Save a tray (if it's not too dirty) and make something using the tray and carton.... Not sure yet.
Oh, And I have a ton of trays too, but those are harder to get because they get dirty, and I don't feel like carrying them around...
Well, I'm going to a shadowcast of Rocky Horror Picture Show on the 10th, and was wondering what to wear. I've been to one previously, and I know to wear a raincoat/jacket. I want to make something a little Rocky-esque, but not an outfit from the actual show. Any tips or suggestions would make my life a LOT easier.
At school, my friend and I have started a craft club. Tomorrow is our first meeting, and we're knitting. We have extra needles and yarn, but more people might come. I need some ideas for a craft or project to do for the people that either don't want to knit, or don't have supplies.
Also, my friend and I made a 'Donations Box', but do you think it should double as a suggestion box??
