22  CLOTHING / Designer Clothing Homage / Yellow Louis Vuitton spring 05 (ELLE beyonce cover) dress on: September 12, 2005 10:53:47 AM
Hey! This is a dress I made earlier this year, but I thought it would fit nicely posted in the "designer homage" section since I made it to look like a Louis Vuitton dress.

Here is the LV dress

and here is mine that I made for my brother's graduation day (sorry the pictures aren't better, but you get the idea)

I used Simplicity 5052, yellow cotton, and some wide white lace at the bottom.

Thanks for lookin'!

23  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / my "baby in clouds" dress with tutorial on: April 07, 2005 05:20:47 AM

24  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Help with tote bag pattern on: September 19, 2003 03:58:05 PM
Hey! I'm Adrianne I've been using a McCall's pattern (it's the one with just basic tote bag styles). Anyway, sometime I have a problem sewing the long thin snake-like part (the sides) onto the two square parts (front and back). I find that it's often hard to match them exactly. Anyone have tips for how to sew it on better? Thank you!
25  Ohio / Ohio: Northwest / Bowling Green on: September 19, 2003 03:50:10 PM
Hey! Here are my favorite Bowling Green craft/ thrift places... Ben Franklin, Jo-Ann Fabrics, Goodwill, Salvation Army, Big Lots (lol!), and Friend's Antiques. We used to have SO many antique malls but most closed down Sad  Anyone else from BG?
