411  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Crocheted Hats on: November 04, 2005 09:11:38 AM
Here are some hats I finished recently.  I've been crocheting clothes for dolls for a while now.  This is my first venture into the world of people-size hats.

Sorry the photos are so big.
412  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: How's Your etsy Shop Doing? on: November 04, 2005 09:06:36 AM
I've only sold one thing so far, but my Etsy store has only been open a couple of weeks.  I love the concept of Etsy.  Hopefully things will pick up soon.

I really like your products.  They have some great colors.  Your prices seem reasonable to me.

One thing I would suggest is maybe using a different background, like maybe hanging them up somewhere or having someone wear them to show off instead of laying down.
414  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Honest opinions wanted on my Etsy store Please on: November 04, 2005 08:42:37 AM
My store is ChezMichelle located here on Etsy: http://chezmichelle.etsy.com/

I'm looking for feedback on pricing, style, etc.  Please be honest.  Negatives are okay too, I need to learn somehow.

Thanks a bunch.

Michelle

Very pretty hat!  Are you asking about blocking to make the hat longer?  You can always join on to the bottom of the hat and crochet more length to it.  Actually that's what I normally do to my hats just to give them a more finished look, and you can add a pretty ruffled edge that way.
416  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / "Blythe and Me" Matching Hats, Set 1 on: November 04, 2005 07:08:07 AM

I love making hats for Blythe and Pullips, and now I've started making adult-size hats.  Now you and your Blythe doll can have matching hats  Grin
