Hmm... this sound interesting. Is the fabric washable after you print your image on it?
2  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Quilting Advice for Beginners on: February 22, 2008 03:34:21 PM
I got tired of my projects on the floor so I pinned up a large flannel sheet on the wall and "Presto" instant design board.  Roll Eyes
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Re: Candy Wrapper Purse Origami Technique?? on: February 25, 2007 07:19:57 PM
I can't get the pic. But, I think what you are talking about is a technique used in prison art. You can seach "prison art gum wrappers" here or google and find all kinds of stuff.
4  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Too young to be a quilter? on: February 18, 2007 10:24:34 AM
I've been away from craftster for a while and now I'm back because I just started quilting. I'm quilting because I LOVE FABRIC!!

You should see the books at my library. They are ancient and written by eighty year olds. I read the "about the author"s

No offense to the 80 year olds but I can't find anything in the oodles of books at the library that is interesting. It's time to spearhead the quilter's revolution!!!
5  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: !!Adult Content!! I need advice! Pic heavy on: February 02, 2007 08:16:22 PM
I must mention that there is a word out there for vagina images- yonnic (I hope I spelled it right) it's the opposite of phallic.
In my opinion, just keep on making art. Whether it is yonnic or not there are always going to be people out there that will have a problem with it. Just got to keep making what inspires you.
6  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: record cover journal on: June 01, 2004 12:09:28 PM
A hotknife works great.  You would't have to heat the record and risk warping or breathing any of those nasty fumes.

???What size needle did you use? Was it a wedge needle? I have a Bernina, and don't want to hurt it... Roll Eyes
Berina actually offers a pattern for the juice bag. I use a leather needle and jeans thread on zigzag. I don't have a berina ,sigh. But if I did I'd use that double needle attachment yet still with jean thread. You can also buy a teflon no stick pressure foot . it like made out of your no stick cookware.
