2  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Who Likes To Rock The Party...METALHEADS! on: March 12, 2009 05:00:18 PM
So I take NO credit for this, as it was completed in all its awesomeness by my housemate, Spens. This was like his second stencil and I think it turned out STUNNING. *high five to all crafty metalheads*

He had this to say:
I had an image and did a vector drawing off of it. printed the stencil (made from the vector drawing) out across 4 pieces of pronter paper which i taped together and cut out. Used house paint to fill in the stencil.

Apparently, it is Abbath from the band Immortal, which is apparently good.  Cheesy Its on a shirt.

4  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Re: Gift that says "I'm not a stalker... love me!" on: January 23, 2008 01:59:07 PM
Nothing says "I'm not crazy" like a stenciled tshirt/hoodie! It's practical, easy and you could reference a weird surrealist film or indie band making it totally individual and unique to him.
5  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / "I like you" valentine ideas on: January 09, 2008 05:30:04 PM
Okay, so I just started dating my current boyfriend over xmas holidays and although we've been really good friends for four years, I dont want to get him Valentines Day stuff that is TOO gushy or has "I LOVE YOU" plastered all over it because, honestly, not there yet Tongue

He's really into film-making and our first date was seeing Sweeney Todd. He likes to ski and is a general nerd, trekie and HOTTIE.

Any ideas? Anyone? I WOULD APPRECIATE IT GREATLY!!!

7  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Halloween Masquerade... HELP!!! on: October 08, 2007 01:43:22 PM
 Grin
I'm in charge of dances this year at my high school (props to student council) and i have VERY LITTLE idea of how to decorate a gym full of mostly 9th and 10th graders. It is a masquarde in a dress up sense, not a classical masquerade because my school couldnt handle the cool of it. Sad
ANY AND ALL IDEAS ARE MOST WELCOME!!!!!!!
8  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Re: chocolate bowls on: January 23, 2007 06:27:10 AM
Now, when you say "stand the balloon up on the tray" i have a sinking feeling that this is where i'll go wrong. Standing up balloons isn't my forte. However, could you just kind of sit the balloon in a larger bowl to cool?
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / i am a pink bunny! on: January 05, 2007 11:34:05 AM

Excuse the bad picture, it was early morning! My friend Steve went to an anime convention and found an awesome pink bunny hat  there for $30. I looked at his and said, "I can make that!" so i did. I  found a pink fleece hat for $5 at Giant Tiger and a matching neckwarmer for $6. I just cut ears out of the neckwarmer, sewed them on and TADA! For $11 I made the exact same thing. Its so warm!

Comments and critism are welcome!! Grin
