Help!  I am trying to put together a Rita Skeeter Halloween costume and have been searching Ebay like crazy for a green satin suit to vamp up.  I have found a lime green suit but it's not shiny, and have found a satin suit but it's white (with some embroidery).  I am thinking of trying to dye the white satin and pick out the embroidery but it seems to me that satin may not take dye.  Does anyone know if this can be done?

Does anyone know if Photo-emulsion will go bad if you leave it in a hot car for two weeks?  It was not exposed to light.  My friend did it.

I have pieced together the rear pockets from multiple pairs of jeans and used the waistbands as back and neck straps.  I have recently become obsessed with making shirts to show off the tat in progress!

I'm sorry if this has already been addressed--I am a new Crafster user.  I recently got out of art school with a focus in screen printing but they didn't teach us much about printing on shirts and stuff, because they focused more on the "fine art" crap.  I am very interested in making my own clothing and want to use my screen printing skills in conjunction with this.  So, I need to know what type of inks to use on both light and dark fabrics that can be heat set without an expensive dryer.  I have heard there are inks that dry in the sun--where do I get them?  I also have heard of allowing the inks to dry and then putting your shirts or whatever in a laundry dryer or the oven.  I have ALSO heard of ironing the front and back of the dried image between paper.  Which is the best method, what ink do I use, and where do I get the ink?  And if any one has time, I need some tips on photo emulsion stuff since I don't have a dark room space and I have a huge screen, like 3.5 ft x 3.5 ft.  I have done emulsion in a lighted room, and as far as I know as long as it's not out too long, this is ok.  But what bulb and how long and how high above the screen, etc.  The ink question is more important as I think I can figure out the photo stuff.  Thanks!
