1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: cocktail swap on: October 07, 2009 05:40:01 PM
I'm seriously thinking about this, got to decide if I have the time to do it...but some alcohol related crafting is pretty enticing.

So cute, love it!

Did you use a stencil or pattern to embroider that?
It's a sublime stitching transfer pattern.

Oh and the hair I used this multi-colored floss, I thought it was pretty cool.  Grin
Thanks guys.

5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: My Country doesn't have that Round 7 on: November 07, 2006 03:15:24 PM
I'm interested in this swap.  I'm an American, but right now I'm residing on the island of St. Kitts in the caribbean (going to vet school.)  It's a small island so I'm trying to think up things that are unique here (they import a lot of American stuff here, probably for us students.)  The shipping is pretty expensive though so whoever gets me might not be happy with the shipping charges.  (My parents sent me a padded envelope nothing heavy in it through USPS and it cost them $22)

How many skeins of wool-ease was used? I have  one and a half in my stash. .

I don't remember off hand but it was a lot more than 1 1/2, maybe 5 skeins

Awww...that's cute.  When and if I get a guinea pig, which I'm sure at some time in the future I will,  I'll have to keep that in mind.
