Here's the whole lot of goodness <3 Notice the abundance of health-freak items, such as raw or organic bars, sugar free, spirulina, aarrhh! And, notice the multiple items combining peanuts/peanut butter/pretzels/chocolate. Heaven. And Caramel Eggs!! I had heard so much about these, but never tasted them LOL.



Here's a detail of the snacks and cool stuff from Minnesota, I thought the packaging and names were so funny Thanks for finding these rarities for us!! The strawberry-rhubarb jam (favorite flavor!! you're a hero!!) is so cute in its tiny jar/pitcher



And here you can see the gorgeous hoopla that she made for me! There's even a dedication in the back of it, so so cool. Thanks!! It's now sitting on one of my bookshelves next to Amineko, must take a pic of that as well...



And... this is the first snack that I tasted. BTW, they're mostly gone by now, I've been generous and shared the goodies with my boyfriend This bar is SO DELICIOUS. OMG I need to get more! Unfortunately they don't sell them over here ^_^

Today I finally used my new bamboo dpns (courtesy of my secret FOC  ) and I can say knitting in the round was a breeze with those! I also made my first icords.

It didn't really look ok until it was finished. I was planning to send it as a present for someone, but.. my soon to be dh claimed it as "his" nautie.

This morning I received a fabulous swap package from aschnebly!! Thank you!!!
Guess what she sent me? Large size circs!! They are probably not 12mm, but large enough to knit that yarn 
I will post pics soon, here's a sneak preview.. she sent me the SnB book by D.Stoller that I sooo wanted, she surprised me with a Sublime Stitching embroidery pattern that was in my wists, and that I love!! Then she crafted for me some super cute, elaborate, striped, cabled armwarmers!! With a little hole for my thumb. They are perfect!!!!   
Can you tell I'm happy? I've consumed my weekly allowance of exclamation marks

I did use that pattern (thanks aschnebly) but used a different yarn and needle size to the pattern
I used super thick yarn on a 12mm circular rather than the worsted weight, so the number of stitches changed.
If you need a hand with that I can dig around and hope I wrote down the changes on the pattern 
I think I restarted that bag about 5 times before I was happy with the dimensions.
I also lined the bag with some lemon coloured linen (which you can't see) to retain the shape, so it didn't stretch down to the floor when you put something in it!

See, I was thinking of using some yarn I have that requires 12mm needles.. but in my LYS they only have circs up to size 6mm  Sigh.. oh well.. and they haven't even heard of bamboo dpn's.. 

By the way, I love the bag you made for me!! I've been using it already, but it will be even better in the fall/winter.. now it's so hot over here I can't even think about wool

Today I received a wonderful surprise package from koi!! Thank you, everything is so cool!
She sent me a yoga themed stenciled t-shirt, which will be perfect for the summer, and a cute tote with the cutest stencil of a chubby, japanese style cat. WOW!! I really love it. I'll probably use it as a knitting bag.
