thanks guys!!

ahh a tutorial!  i never had someone ask me for one but i'll try to explain it real quick and if the instructions suck then just tell me and i'll try to put something together with pictures and stuff Smiley

1st i just made a basic shirt, about a size or two too big
2nd i hemmed the bottom and the sleeves
3rd i put the shirt on and drew with chalk a line around the neck where i wanted the lace to be
4th i cut out the extra fabric from the top, leaving enough room for a seam where i was sewing the lace on
5th i sewed the lace on, adding a few pleats to the neckline of the base fabric to keep the shirt from looking TOO big
6th i cut the neckline of the lace in the shape i wanted it!

good luck and if you try anything please post it!!!
(i will try to add pictures if that isnt clear and i dont think it is) haha

i've decided to finally start posting in here even though i read it alllllll the time!  so here are just a few things i've done recently Smiley

huuuuuge plain tshirt from ac moore into this!  when i took the pictures it was just pinned shut but i've since added a really cute white button that's in the shape of a star Smiley

another huge tshirt from ac moore...my first attempt at stenciling and puffed sleeves, neither of which went very well...i definitely want to try the sleeves again though, i've become better at stenciling since then

^ closeup of pocket and "puffed sleeves" haha

^ i look so awkward !!!

old bedsheet and some lace i had lying around

^closeup of sleeve and design

^ worst picture ever but you get the idea Smiley

two extra large tshirts into a simple tote baggg

these are just reconstructions i've done, i usually do a lot from scratch...i made my prom dress and i have more purses than i know what to do with!!!

thank you for lookinG!!!  Smiley

well here's the tutorial, it's the first one i ever did so go easy on me if it's unclear! haha any questions just ask Smiley

i'm never sure if photobucket is going to resize something, so if it does here is the link!
