This is Taz, hailing from South Louisiana. He's a Cajun dog who is 16 years old! You can tell by his white face. He is my husband's childhood pet who lives with my in-laws. We will get a dachshund as soon as we move out of our apartment.

23  Harry Potter Marauder's Map replica in Needlework: Completed Projects by trampycouture on: August 24, 2009 07:00:48 PM
I made this cross-stitched slogan for Alexandra-the-Great for the "Favorite Movie in a Box" swap. This is the saying one must say to have access to the whereabouts of everyone in Hogwarts via the Marauder's Map! (Wow, that sounded nerdy!)

24  Harry Potter Extendable Ears in Needlework: Completed Projects by trampycouture on: August 24, 2009 06:57:23 PM

I made my interpretation of Fred and George Weasley's extendable ears device for Alexandra-the-Great for the "Favorite Movie in a Box" swap. I basically just made felt ears, embroidered them, stuffed them, and put a piece of yarn to connect them.

My husband, being sneaky with the extendable ears!

Get ready for this awesome package from Alexandra-the-Great. We shared a lot of the same movies. We both love Harry Potter, for one:
\
It's a crocheted golden snitch! Ya know, it's part of the game of Quiddich they play.

Also, some golden snitch earrings in Gryffindor House colors. (My favorite house)

and last but not least in the Harry Potter set...

A sweet wand!! It's so awesome. I am going to use it in my classroom (I'm an English teacher) as a pointer! NOTE: My husband is wearing a SNUGGIE! (We joke that it looks like a wizard robe)

Now on to another of my favorite movies..Sweeney Todd!!

It's some razor blade earrings with blood droplet beads! How creative!

AHHHHHH!!! Sweeney Todd sliced my neck!! (Not, really. It's a crocheted choker that looks a helluva lot like blood from far away!! Hello Halloween costume!)

And last but not least...

My Sweeney Todd doll! I LOVE LOVE LOVE him!

another closer shot:

As you can see, my husband and I had a great time posing with our new stuff! Thanks Alexandra-the-Great! You ROCK!

26  Woodsy looking earrings in Beads: Completed Projects by trampycouture on: August 01, 2009 11:20:32 PM
I got these beads for a fantastic price at Hobby Lobby a while back because they were seasonal. (Fall.) I love dangly earrings, and I based these off another pair of earrings I found at an antique shop.

What do you think?

28  Star Wars Rebel Logo by amateur artists! in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by trampycouture on: July 13, 2009 08:20:06 PM
My husband and I worked together on this painting to decorate our computer room in our apartment. I used my mad cutting skills to cut out a picture he had printed on 2 separate pages from the internet. He taped them together, and then he traced the logo onto a blank canvas. Then, he painted over it.

What do you think? We would like some feedback!

The next project in mind is the Imperial logo that can be seen on the computer screen right under the rebel logo!

29  NSFW Framed Greeting in Needlework: Completed Projects by trampycouture on: July 09, 2009 12:13:40 PM
I bought the "Alphabets Galore" book from Hobby Lobby, and I've been trying out some fun new fonts to decorate my plain old apartment.

It even matches the ugly ass wallpaper that came in my kitchen! (Sort of...)

30  NSFW C*nt-sicle bookmark for my husband in Needlework: Completed Projects by trampycouture on: July 01, 2009 03:27:45 PM
Okay, in order to truly appreciate this, you have to be a fly on the wall in our house. My husband and I have the worst mouths. One of us will ask, "What are we gonna eat for supper?" Then, the other will usually reply something along the lines of.. "Oh.. cuntsicles," or another favorite of ours is "cockburgers."

So, when I bought a book of cross stitch alphabets, I had to make this for him:
