I gotta say, the BEST Twister craft on here is the Twister clock. Genius. This is awful close though.
On the strap subject, I would suggest sewing a layer of nonstretchy cotton on the back. Like a support I guess. Just fold over the sides and stitch in on. You may want to pleat the plastic strap part a bit so it's shorter and at the length you want.
Oh, alright! Thanks! I was thinking about putting some fabric on the back. I thought I had some white fabric from joanns but it's stretchy material. Thanks again for the tips
I have yet to try the twister clock but since I no longer have a use for the game spinner, I will probably end up making one as a gift or something
I made this twister bag before school let out mainly for exam week. I used it the whole week and it was a lot better than carrying around a book bag. I got many compliments that week as well. I have seen a twister bag here before, buuut I used the search and can't find it. That's where I got the idea from, but that person said theirs had fallen apart, mine is just the opposite. It's very durable
^There it is with the stairs as my model
^Probably the reason that it's so durable is due to the fact that I sewed each piece together, then ducttaped it very slowly and neatly. I knew once the tape was down I wouldn't be able to pull it back up, so I made sure to go neatly. I didn't make a lining, knowing no one would really care about the inside.
^ A close up of the stitching as well as the duct tape.
^ You can't see the strap in the other pictures and I wanted to make sure it got its glamour shot
^Action shot? I guess you could say...
And that's my twister bag One side says "A game that ties you up in knots" And the other says "A stockin' feet game"
The only complaint I have is when I have an algebra book and my binders + a notebook, the strap kind of stretches. The strap's long to begin with and when it stretches it sends the bag to down to my knees, beating them when I walk. If you have any suggestions for this, I'd definitely love to hear them. I plan on using it again when school starts Comments/complaints/criticism very welcome
Not only am I a huge Green Day fan, but I absolutely LOVE this!! That shirt is AWESOME!! I have never seen it before, wish I could find some awesome things like that around here keep up the awesome work =)
I'm not sure what JoAnns is but i'm just assuming that it's similar to Spotlight (Australia) and in that case...how about cushions? Very easy, just buy inserts or wadding and some cool fabrics, maybe do some applique or embroidery on them too, voila You could do small ones, bolsters, floor cushions etc.
That would be a great birthday present for my mom, thanks so much!
yup, that and a fleece baby hat and poncho is about all I've done.
I never thought of the easiness of pajama pants...I know shorts will be easy, but it's winter. Pj pants it is thank you very much. I'm only 15 so I don't think I need to make curtains xDD Thanks anyway =D
